Our Story

Restoring People Back to God’s Family

You belong at Restore. No matter where you come from, what you’ve been through, or what you’ve done, You are and always have been created to be a part of the family. We help people along this path of restoration through seven guiding values: God encounters, solid biblical teaching, committed discipleship, real relationships, servant hearts, gratitude, and honor. We want to become people who meet Jesus, follow Jesus, live with Jesus and share Jesus.

Our Values

God Encounters

We desire to be a church that intentionally builds an atmosphere for God to move among us in a tangible way.

Hebrews 10:22 - Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

Real Relationships

We are made for relationships, by a relational God.

John 15:11-12 - I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.

Solid Biblical Teaching

We believe in Scripture’s power to renew our mind, help us know God, and give us guidance for life.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 - All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

Servant Hearts

Jesus has commanded us to share his love by serving those around us.

Luke 22:26 - But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant.

Honor

We honor God and His people by giving the best we have to offer.

Proverbs 3:9 - Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.

Committed Discipleship

We want to be committed to developing our spiritual lives and living new life in Christ.

Luke 6:40 - Students are not greater than their teacher. But the student who is fully trained will become like the teacher.

Gratitude

People who are thankful for what Jesus has done should be joyful people who keep pursuing His will through prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.

The Bible, as originally given, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is absolute truth and the supreme authority in all matters of belief and behavior.
